Bollywood`s home town of Mumbai was looking slightly deserted as several stars started to fly out to Malaysia for the International India Film Awards.Local Bollywood Fans in Malaysia crowded around the airport hoping to catch some of the Bollywood superstars who will attend the event.First to arrive at the airport in Malaysia was K3G director Karan Johar, who wasn`t expecting such a huge crowd to welcome him.
"I am very happy Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum is very popular here. The movie got the same response wherever it was screened. It`s very inspiring," Karan told the crowd. "The nominations for the IIFA awards alone are good enough. I don`t anticipate anything. But of course, winning would be great but it`s not everything."K3G is nominated for Best Picture, Best Direction, Actor In A Leading Role, Actress In A Leading Role, Actor In A Supporting Role, Performance In A Comic Role, Music Direction, Best Story, Lyrics, Male Playback Singer and Female Playback Singer.
Since Shah Rukh Khan is expected until later on, the actor asked Karan Johar to accompany his wife to Malaysia and the two seemed very comfortable in each others presence, which is not surprising considering they are also good friends
